John H. Gohde – Original Templates

John H. Gohde has resumed editing on Wikipedia. Upon his returned, John was actually surprised to find out that the two key lists that were once deleted, have been restored one way or the other by popular demand. Thus, his Wikiproject on Alternative Medicine is once again whole.

Every major branch of alternative medicine article has a box on it that is a lot bigger than John H. Gohde‘s original orange CamMenu template, that appears to the left.

Thanks to the restoration of his two lists that once were deleted, his original navigational aid is once again, completely functional. Unlike Wikipeidia’s reliance on categories, John’s CamMenu Box would have allowed visitors to Wikipedia to quickly move from one alternative medicine article to another.

Participants of the project have tagged to date, close to 1,000 articles as being related to Alternative Medicine. Thus, there is indeed a vast network of articles that visitors to Wikipedia who are interested in Alternative Medicine should be able to easily locate, but who have to suffer through the current pitiful boxes that appear on these articles. While any box is better than no navigational aid, John H. Gohde‘s original vision was a lot more effective than the current design.

  3. […] John H. Gohde asks: Who is going to pay for all of this? Insurance or Society? Maybe insurance, but who in the end pays the premiums for health insurance? Thanks to these large multiple birth moms who have a right to have big families, everyone should be expecting to be crushed in the near future by a major jump in their health insurance premiums. It is a sure bet that over the lifetimes of the octuplets society in the end will be paying for their problems, one way or the other. Are these octuplets likely to be exceptionally gifted? Or, are they more likely to be problematic throughout their lives, asks John H. Gohde? […]
